Wedding Wednesday

I am so excited to be getting married this June and while this is not intended to be a 'wedding blog' it's such a big part of my life right now there is no way I could not include it...so welcome to the first Wedding Wednesday!

We are very lucky to be getting married in what I think is one of the most beautiful spots in the UK...the Dorset coast.  We are having a traditional Church ceremony at the church my Mum and Dad attend - Poole Christian Fellowship - and then we'll transport our guests by coach to the Sandbanks to Studland Ferry where we'll cross as foot passengers (so excited about the photo opportunities!) and make the short stroll to Shell Bay Restaurant.

We knew we wanted to get married in Poole and soon after James popped the question we started the online search for the perfect venue... approximately five minutes later we found it - Shell Bay.  We fell in love.  A week or so later we drove down from London to Poole to look at different locations, because you can't just chose the first venue you see online right? Wrong!  As soon we set eyes on Shell Bay on a rainy cold December Saturday we both knew this was 'The One'.  It was so pretty and the views were incredible even though it was closed and it was a miserable day.  Then the panic set in, we had set our hearts on a June wedding and that was only 7 months away, would they be able to fit us in.  Cue some frenzied emails and calls and followed by a HUGE sigh of relief when every Saturday in June was free...it was meant to be!

Check out these pictures to see what all the fuss is about...

I mean seriously it doesn't even look like the UK.  Here's hoping for a beautiful sunset on the big day.
